1 WEEK TO GO!

On your Marques...

The clubs are pulling out all the stops for you this year and we have some amazing vehicles coming into the halls as we speak.

The TR Register has a 'coke and a smile' as they drive in their newly acquired Coca Cola TR7, one of three unique cars bought and liveried by Star Vans in 1978 on behalf of Coca Cola and Levi Strauss as prizes for a competition - and all three still survive today.
The Jaguar XJS Club has gone back to the 70s with a return of the Saint themed stand while Sureterm are revisiting the 80s to celebrate the launch of online live pricing when home computing was just starting out - they are all dressed up in leg warmers and ra-ra skirts (and that's the fellas!) In the Classic Bike hall, the Norton Owners Club is bringing in one amazing bike after the other while the Pride of Ownership entrants are frantically polishing up their motorcycles; good job Meguiar's are in the building.

Get set....

Among the many dealers in Hall 1, Nick Whale Sportscars have a stunning 1958 Porsche 356A Carrera GS/GT Coupe that is up for sale for the bargain price of £275,000 on their stand. They also have a couple of very special E-Type Jaguars and a beautiful Austin Healey.

The traders are coming in thick and fast with new products, exclusive show discounts and lots of opportunities to win fantastic prizes whilst in the Autojumble, there is more random motor paraphernalia than ever before.

Ace Cafe London and Milkcow magazine are having a dance off rather than setting up their stands and the Hammerite girls have just showed up so all the guys have downed tools and gone to help carry boxes for them!

On the Live Stage, Footman James are running through the Price Right Challenge while Edd sorts out his toolbox ready to build the Sumo Cobra. The guys from Leeds City College have started banging metal in the restoration theatre, sponsored by CES UK, and Mike Brewer is supposed to be rehearsing but he's gone AWOL. Rumour has it he's in Hall 1 with dealer area sponsor Singletons, sampling the whiskey!

It's all coming together and we can't wait to open the doors and welcome you into the Classic Motor Show 2009!
